Where There’s a Will, There’s a Way

During Fall, God brings out the best in nature and surrounds us with a blaze of color before blanketing us with the cold and quiet of winter.  Living life filled with passion and purpose — in a blaze of glory — honors God’s goodness.  At any stage in life, we want to look back and know our moments on earth matter.

A Will Helps Protect the People and Causes You Love

The Catholic Foundation believes now is the perfect time to reflect on what you value and create an estate plan that protects and honors what matters most in your life.  It is important that your plan:

  • Protects your loved ones.
  • Empowers you to control important decision making.
  • Builds a legacy of meaning and impact.

Even though a will is one of the best ways to protect the people and causes you love, a recent Caring.com survey found that more than 67% of American adults don’t have an up-to-date will in place. We encourage you to create or update your plans.  And in the process, you can also further your commitment to your favorite Catholic cause by including a legacy in your estate plan.

Legacy Gifts Live on Forever

Donors have told us they like leaving a legacy gift to an endowment fund because their gift lives on forever.  It’s like your weekly parish envelope and your annual fund gift to a Catholic school, Catholic parish or Catholic ministry continues for generations to come.

Please make an appointment with your attorney for any questions regarding your estate plan. Please contact the Catholic Foundation to learn more about how endowment funds are impacting the future of your favorite Catholic causes.

We hope you are inspired to act and protect all you love — all that matters in your life.
