Supports a graduation award for a graduating senior exemplifying school citizenship and service, and for scholarships, academics and extra-curricular programs at Allentown Central Catholic High School.

Francis and Mary Waldron believed in the power and impact of Catholic education. They sacrificed to send all of their seven children to St. Thomas More School and Central Catholic High School in Allentown, PA.

All of their children and grandchildren who attended Central Catholic performed well academically. However, as parents and grandparents, they were especially proud of how each of them excelled outside the classroom and served in leadership positions in various extracurricular activities such as athletic team captains, class presidents, Central Committee officers, Student Council representatives, Marching Band Drum Major, Key Club President, National Honor Society, and Seneschal & Glen Echoes editors.

Frank and Mary believed the strong, faith-centered atmosphere their children experienced at Central Catholic High School prepared them well to achieve continued success in college and in life. It is the Waldron’s hope that through this endowment fund that other young people may achieve the same success as their family.
